Annual Milford Pride Townwide Clean Up Day

Milford Townwide Cleanup Day - photo 1The first Saturday of each May, townspeople gather at Keyes Field at 9:00 am to participate in Milford Pride Town wide clean up day. Each year, individuals, teams from local businesses, scout troops and service clubs alike don trash bags and gloves and are directed to various area locations throughout Milford to pick up trash discarded throughout the winter.

Donuts and coffee are provided by Milford Dunkin’ Donuts each year and the event is sponsored jointly by the Milford Improvement Team (MIT) and the Benevolent #7 Masonic Lodge, whose members are on hand to cook up a BBQ to feed the volunteers lunch. The Department of Public Works and Recreation Department also play key roles in making the day a great success!

The Milford Improvement Team coordinates this annual event for the Town of Milford each year. Please email questions and comments to Wendy Hunt at director@milfordimprovementteam.org.
