Perfect weather, great food, drinks and a large, enthusiastic crowd of happy and ready-to-eat attendees, made for a wonderful evening at the 8th Annual A Taste of Milford on Friday, May 19th! Each Year, the Milford Improvement Team organizes a “Taste” by pairing the downtowns businesses with local restaurants, caterers, specialty food stores, and cottage gourmet food businesses. The purpose of the event is to bring attendees down to the Oval area in order to showcase the Milford area as a dining and shopping destination. This year’s event was sponsored by Amherst Label, Rock 101.1, and Hanson Printing.
Hundreds of Taste attendees from as far away as the Boston metro area, Nashua, Manchester and beyond, were treated to a fantastic night out as they strolled in and around the shops and stores on the Milford Oval, stopping to Taste some of the best food in the area from 28+ different food participants. The businesses stayed open late to host the Taste participants, and there was live music in 3 locations performed by the Doubleneck Guitar Duo, Robert Allwarden and Rich Kumpu, and Marlena Phillips.
